感想
Working for IHCWAY was a great experience for me. The freedom to arrange times and locations that suited both me and my students was a great advantage to them and myself. I not only got to meet a broad spectrum of the people living and working in Tokyo but within the part of the city that I chose to work, I got the chance to explore and come to know more about the layout of where I was living.
When students thanked me after their TOEIC scores had improved, I felt great satisfaction. They had learnt more English and in nearly ever lesson I had learnt more about Japan's culture, festivals, holidays, family/working life and food (I maybe learnt about and enjoyed the food too much, as after a year in Tokyo I had gained over 20 kilos).
Now I am back in the U.K and I am missing the time that I spent in Tokyo. I hope that in the future I will return and be able to further improve my knowledge of Japan and it's culture aswell as help more people increase their knowledge of the English language.

感想
Minna-san Konnichiwa! I am Ricky Jamora from Australia and I am here to make your time learning English a fun, relaxing and valuable one.
Without further adue, here is a little bit about me. I am mainly of mix race, Hawai'ian-Mexican, and have grown up in different countries such as United States, Spain, New Zealand and Australia due to my father's job.
Recently, in Australia I use to work for an international travel wholesale company in the finance area. I love to travel and experience new cultures and have travelled to many places around the world, mostly as a child and would not hesitate to visit those places again now that I am an adult.
I am also a musician - lead vocalist/songwriter/guitar player/vocal training teacher. I use to perform in Australia at bars, restaurants and clubs with my old band members and also teach private lessons to future singers.
Now I am currently with a Hawai'ian band here in Japan as their new lead vocalist. As part native Hawai'ian it is in my blood to love the beach and surfing.
There are some great waves in Hawai'i and Australia and I always look forward to when summer comes. I also am looking forward to my first ever summer in Japan which I hear is quiet an unforgetably 'hot' experience.
Japan is probably the most interesting and enjoyable place that I have travelled to so far and I have been here a few times before on holiday and business. It is so steeped in history and culture.
I have to admit, the food is absolutely delicious and yes, I am one of those rare foreigners that love to eat natto for it's health benefits.
As an IHCWAY teacher I find that when teaching anything whether it be music/singing or english, both student and teacher must have the same passion to teach and learn and engage in the lesson enthusiatically. As a musician, listening and communication skills are very important, so should it be with english - don't rush, be motivated, listen, listen, listen, understand and of course practice out loud because as they say 'Practice makes Perfect'
I hope every lesson with you will be fun filled with excitement and valuable learning and that I can help you improve on your english greatly.
Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu.

感想
Hello there!I’m Sandro from Germany and I teach English and German at IHCWAY. In Japan, everything is really new and exciting to me. The reason for my stay here is to get to know Japanese language and culture as well as I possibly can.
So, I am really looking forward to getting to know as many people as possible. I like to think that my work at IHCWAY lets me do just that: share experiences with many people from a different culture – and if I can help others to improve their English at the same time, much the better.
When it comes to learning foreign languages, believe me, I’ve had my fair share: I speak not only English and German, but am fluent also in Italian and French.
It is never easy to learn a new language; whether one is just at the beginning or a bit more advanced – it always takes a lot of effort and hard work to reach that next level. The good thing is, you are not the only one having difficulties! And as a teacher I want to guide you and help you achieving your goal in a fun and relaxed atmosphere with lessons tailored to your individual interests.
I am really looking forward to hearing from you.

感想
Hajimemashite! My name is Robert Harper and I am from New Jersey in the United States. In the United States, I was in the Information Technology field, managing networks and teaching clients how to use new technologies.
I also spent a lot of my time in the U.S. recording music and editing video for a small AV company. In between time I study Japanese. Japanese is not easy to learn but I enjoy the challenge.
I enjoy everything about Japan since my first trip a few years ago. Who can resist the countless bowls of ramen, or the endless cans of melon soda? And let’s not forget those delightful Gari Gari-kun treats. My favorite! There are never enough for me. I enjoy each day here in Japan by absorbing the Japanese language and the culture.
I find that some of the same practices in teaching IT are just as helpful to students of English. As a teacher of English the three skills I hold to my success are patience, listening skills and effective communication.
At the same time, learning should be fun, so I attempt create a fun learning environment for my students. I understand the challenges of learning English, because I encounter some of the same challenges as I learn Japanese.
I believe learning a new language requires valuable teaching and constant reinforcement. I believe IHCWAY provides valuable teachers to its students while offering the most convenient and efficient way to learn. If you are serious about learning English, never give up.

Hello, my name is Chris Jesse. I am a Canadian from Calgary, Alberta. Iam in Japan to experience the culture and history of an incredible country. I am very interested in Japan's history and its development as an unique island nation.
I enjoy the flexible nature of IHCWAY for both students and instructors and the ability to tailor lessons to each student's interests.
I am always eager to meet new students and believe that a foreign language can be learned in a relaxing environment.
The one-on-one approach is very beneficial to a student's understanding as there is very little pressure placed upon the student while allowing for effective communication.
Please don't worry about making mistakes, as that is what the lessons arefor and we learn a great deal from our mistakes. As an IHCWAY teacher I am here to help you with your English language goals. I hope you enjoy your lessons as I enjoy instructing them.

感想
Hello everybody, my name is Clarence. I came from Vancouver, Canada.I have been in Japan for more than a year now. I used to watch Japanese animations and dramas when I was in Vancouver and since then my interest to Japan just kept growing more and more.
That is why I decided to come to Japan. When I first came to Japan, the thought of teaching English never went through my mind; however, some good opportunities came across and I told myself why not give it a try. So I became an IHCWAY tutor and it turned out to be a success for me.
Not only did I help the students learn English, but I also learned many valuable lessons about several aspects of life from my students. One word of advice for the students who are learning English or any other languages - Don't be afraid to make a mistake, becasue by learning from it you will actually improve faster.
cheers,
Clarence Lai

感想
Hi! I am Joy Villar. I am from the Philippines, and I am here in Japan right now as an exchange student studying, among other things, the Japanese Language. I only started learning the Japanese language formally around a year ago, so I understand well the feeling of wanting to learn the language more, wanting to improve in using the language more.
I have been working at IHCWAY for a while now, but I can say that I like teaching in IHCWAY because the environment is relaxed and the student and the teacher have more room for interaction. The student can speak more, and the teacher can focus more on helping that student improve their language skills.
Learning a language is, I admit, hard. But if you have the interest in learning it, if you have the perseverance for it, then I believe that you will learn the language and improve in it easily.
So make the most out of each lesson by speaking a lot and asking a lot of questions. Don't worry about making mistakes, because making mistakes is a big part of the learning process.
Good luck, and I hope you have fun learning the language as much as we have fun teaching them!

感想
Hello, My Name is Rachel Yeung and I am a Chinese Canadian from Vancouver, BC. I am currently an exchange student studying in Tokyo. I have studied Japanese for a few years now, so I am familiar with the difficulties of learning a foreign language. But you shouldn't let these difficulties stop you from learning something that you are interested in!
I have been working for IHCWAY for three months now and I love their relaxed and fun teaching environment. Prior to teaching, I was always nervous about meeting a student for the first time.
However, I soon realized that it was silly of me to be nervous, because each time I meet my students, we always have fun and interesting conversations.
Even though I am teaching English to my students, I feel like I am also learning something new from them every lesson. For example, they always have interesting stories about the Japanese culture to share with me.
I noticed that sometimes students may be hesitant to speak because they are not sure if their grammar is correct, but please don't hesitate. This is an English lesson.
IHCWAY teachers are here to help you improve your speech and fluency. I believe the more mistakes you make during the lesson, the faster you will grasp the English language.
Keep working hard and good luck to everyone!
-Rachel

感想
Hello students! My name is Will Hundley and I am half-Japanese and half-Caucasian/American.
Although I was born in Machida-shi, Japan, I moved to the USA when I was almost 2 years old and grew up in Dublin, Ohio, just outside of the capital, Columbus, the hometown of first ever Wendy's fast-food chain!!!!
Many people mistake Ohio with Iowa or Idaho, so to don't mix it up!!
I lived in the USA until I was 21 and I have been living here for almost 7 months in Higashi Omiya.
At home I would speak Japanese and at school I would speak English, so I have a decent grasp of Japanese but am fluent/native in English.
It is very admiring to see the hardworking students of IHCWAY work to improve their English skills in every aspect of the language.
Currently, I am attending Jyouchi Daigaku/Sophia University and plan on graduating with a degree in International Business, hopefully to end up working for a company in Japan using my English and Japanese language abilities.
I too, like many of fellow colleagues, am still trying to perfect my Japanese and can understand how difficult it is to do so. I would trade anyone my English abilities for their kanji reading and writing abilities!!!!
Working at IHCWAY is wonderful in how it allows me to take each student by the hand and walk them through the English learning process. Seeing each student's improvements is forever gratifying and makes it easier to teach.
I am grateful to be working for a company like IHCWAY that provides a system that works and wants every one of their students enjoy the difficult process of learning English. So together, let's work to develop your strong grasp of the English language!
Let's chat sometime soon!
-Will Hundley
